Banten Food Prices Today: Red Chili Price Up, Bird's Eye Chili Price Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (4/11/2025) at 13.20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, premium rice, frozen buffalo meat (imported), broiler chicken meat, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, garlic, red bird's eye chili, bulk cooking oil, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp2,949 (5.43%) to Rp57,235 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili saw the deepest decrease of Rp4,144 (10.28%) to Rp36,150 per kg.
