Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chicken and Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (29/6/2024) at 12:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, SPHP rice, curly red chilies, dry soybean (import), and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp920 (3.39%) to Rp28,050 per kg. Farmer-level corn saw the sharpest price drop of Rp170 (3.01%) to Rp5,480 per kg.
