The price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in Jakarta Province has decreased by 12.42% over the past month.

Based on the latest data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in DKI Jakarta province is recorded at Rp20,100 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

However, compared to the price over the past month, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp22,950 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has decreased by 12.42%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in DKI Jakarta province was traded at Rp22,950 per kg.

The highest recorded price increase for branded packaged cooking oil in modern markets in this province was in June 2022, with an increase of 29.8%, while the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2025, at -12.42%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta show 11 commodities decreased and 18 increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Chicken Meat, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Quality 2 Beef, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Cooking Oil, Beef, Medium-Sized Garlic, Garlic, Medium-Sized Shallots, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, and Quality 1 Beef.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price changes over the past month in DKI Jakarta province:

9. Low Quality I Rice per kg: Rp14,950 (up 5.65%)
10. Red Chili Peppers per kg: Rp110,950 (up 62.21%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per kg: Rp21,650 (down 8.65%)
