Price of Medium-Sized Garlic at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Central Java Province is recorded at Rp46,400. This price is up Rp1,900 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp43,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 9.05% from the previous price of Rp42,550.

The record high for the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2020 with an increase of 41.55%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2017 with a decrease of -14.49%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show nine commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province; Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province; and Daily Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province.
