Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (25/7/2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, bulk wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,920 (3.36%) to Rp59,130 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken fell the most by Rp310 (0.88%) to Rp34,990 per kg.
