South Sumatra Food Price List Today: Egg and Rice Prices Increase (Friday, February 23, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (23/2/2024) at 12:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are medium-grain rice, chicken eggs, milkfish, mackerel, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, garlic cloves, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was red chilies, up by Rp800 (0.97%) to Rp83,540 per kg. The commodity with the lowest price decrease was farmer-level corn, down by Rp290 (3.5%) to Rp8,000 per kg.
