Food Prices in Central Java Monday (13/10): Salt Prices Up, Buffalo Meat Down

The prices of several food ingredients in Central Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (13/10/2025) at 09:53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were pure beef, SPHP rice, packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, and frozen buffalo meat (imported).

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, corn at the farmer level, fresh buffalo meat (local), premium rice, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumer salt commodity saw the highest increase of Rp434 (3.98%) to Rp11,344 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) experienced the deepest drop of Rp144,375 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
