Today's Food Prices in Banten: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (11/03/2025) at 13.00 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include table salt, bulk wheat flour, shallots, Minyakita (a brand of cooking oil), and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, dry soybeans (import), pure beef, red chilies, and table sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most by Rp1,349 (3.54%) to Rp39,440 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp4,563 (7.79%) to Rp54,048 per kg.
