Latest Food Prices in East Java, How Much is Chili Pepper?

The prices of several food ingredients in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (September 10, 2025) at 08.41 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, medium rice, dried soybean seeds (imported), red chili peppers, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, consumption sugar, packaged cooking oil, large red chilies, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The red chili pepper commodity surged the highest by Rp3,492 (11.56%) to Rp33,688 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red onions dropped the sharpest by Rp3,998 (11.34%) to Rp31,250 per kg.

6. Red Onion: Rp31,250 per kg (down 11.34%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,778 per kg (down 3.17%)
8. Milkfish: Rp30,500 per kg (down 6.78%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp29,813 per kg (down 1.66%)
10. Large Red Chili: Rp28,563 per kg (down 4.47%)
