Bali Food Prices Today: Onion Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (18/10/2024) at 09.31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, shallots, milkfish, premium rice, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, shallots, dry soybean (import), pure beef, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel fish saw the highest increase of Rp1,750 (4.79%) to Rp38,260 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil saw the largest decrease of Rp690 (4.12%) to Rp16,040 per liter.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 21 food commodities in Bali according to Bapanas on October 18, 2024, at 09.31 WIB.

6. Shallot Bulbs: Rp35,370 per kg (down 1.5%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,830 per kg (up 0.75%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp26,180 per kg (up 4.76%)
