Sumatera Barat Food Price List Today: Chicken and Onion Prices Rise (Thursday, December 7, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (7/12/2023) at 11:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, skipjack tuna, milkfish, pure beef, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, granulated sugar, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping Rp2,670 (5.8%) to Rp48,700 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp3,720 (5.89%) to Rp59,440 per kg.

4. Mackerel: Rp48,700 per kg (up 5.8%)
5. Skipjack Tuna: Rp38,680 per kg (up 0.23%)
6. Garlic Bulb: Rp34,470 per kg (up 0.29%)
7. Milkfish: Rp34,400 per kg (up 3.24%)
8. Shallots: Rp28,560 per kg (up 0.56%)
9. Layer Chicken Eggs: Rp28,480 per kg (up 1.5%)
