Food Prices in Central Java Monday (1/9), How Much is Onion?

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (1/9/2025) at 14:18 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 19 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are red bird''s eye chili, red onion, skipjack tuna, whole garlic, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as corn at the farmer level, dried soybean seeds (imported), large red chili, Indian mackerel, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp1,005 (3.36%) to Rp30,940 per kg. As for large red chili, its price dropped the sharpest by Rp127 (0.4%) to Rp31,989 per kg.
