Price of Medium Quality I Rice in Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-quality I rice in traditional markets in the Yogyakarta Special Region province is recorded at Rp14,900. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

However, compared to the last month, the daily price of medium-quality I rice in traditional markets has increased from the previous record of Rp14,650.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality I rice in traditional markets in Yogyakarta over the last three months has increased by 1.71% from the previous record of Rp14,650.

The highest record of price increases for daily medium-quality I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2022 with an increase of 6.52%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in November 2022 with a decrease of -6.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Yogyakarta show six commodities decreased and 17 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are: Daily Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.
