Latest Food Prices in West Java: Oil Up, Corn Down (Saturday, December 2nd, 2023)

Food prices in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (2/12/2023) at 09.38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, chicken eggs, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, medium rice, dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp320 (2.13%), reaching Rp15,330 per liter. The price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease of Rp200 (3.23%), reaching Rp5,990 per kg.
