Aceh Food Price Update Today: Onion, Rice, and Chicken Prices Increase (Wednesday, April 17, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (17/4/2024) at 9 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, medium-grain rice, whole cloves of garlic, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, pure beef, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp3,590 (11.13%) to Rp35,850 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most by Rp5,230 (8.72%) to Rp54,770 per kg.
