The daily price of low-quality rice in traditional markets in East Java Province has remained unchanged over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in East Java Province is recorded at Rp13,350. This price is unchanged from the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp13,350.

Meanwhile, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in East Java over the last three months has decreased by 1.11%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in East Java Province was traded at Rp13,500.

The highest record for the daily price of low-quality grade I rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2019 with an increase of 41.18%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in December 2019 with a decrease of -29.51%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Java recorded 12 commodities decreasing and 18 others increasing. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Chicken Eggs, Medium-Sized Red Onions, Garlic, Red Onions, Medium-Sized Garlic, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Premium Quality Sugar, Local Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Sugar, and Large Red Chili.
