Food Prices Wednesday (June 12th) Jambi Region: Chili Up, Oil Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (12/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, skipjack tuna, red chilies, shallots, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices increased the most, by Rp4,260 (13.86%) to Rp35,000 per kg. Simple packaged cooking oil prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp740 (4.68%) to Rp15,070 per liter.

8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,050 per kg (up 2.47%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,470 per kg (up 1.64%)
