Red Onion Prices at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in West Nusa Tenggara province is recorded at Rp44,250. This price is down Rp1,200 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp31,250.

Meanwhile, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in West Nusa Tenggara over the past three months has increased by 28.08% from the previous price of Rp34,550.

The record high for the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2018 with an increase of 30.67%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2017 with a decrease of -24.07%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Nusa Tenggara show five commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Medium Quality II Rice.

5. Daily Curly Red Chili per Kg in Traditional Markets by Province Rp53,150 (down 19.77%)
6. Medium-sized Shallots per Kg Rp44,250 (up 41.6%)
