Food Prices Today (19/12) in Central Java: Red Chili, Chicken Meat, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (19/12/2025) at 13.54 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler eggs and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, red cayenne pepper, red onion, curly red chili, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium rice commodities saw the highest increase of Rp14 (0.11%) to Rp13,306 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili experienced the deepest drop of Rp2,982 (6.28%) to Rp44,537 per kg.

6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,000 per kg (down 0.05%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp31,556 per kg (stable)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp29,861 per kg (up 0.06%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,981 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,698 per liter (stable)
11. Minyakita: Rp16,857 per liter (stable)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,611 per kg (stable)
