Food Prices in Jambi, Wednesday (November 27th): Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Wednesday (27/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, premium rice, fine iodized salt, shallots, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,610 (11.5%) to Rp35,000 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,750 (5.56%) to Rp29,740 per kg.
