Today's Food Prices (25/2) in Indonesia: Oil and Onion Prices Drop

Some food commodity prices in Indonesia today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) at 14:23 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 increased and 9 decreased.

Commodities that saw price increases include premium packaged palm cooking oil, broiler chicken eggs, bulk palm cooking oil, medium rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken meat, red cayenne pepper, beef rump, wheat flour, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported soybean prices increased the most by Rp34 (0.26%) to Rp13,315 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices decreased the most by Rp4,514 (9.79%) to Rp41,594 per kg.

5. Shallots: Rp41,190 per kg (down 0.39%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,452 per kg (down 0.35%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,522 per kg (down 0.06%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,943 per kg (up 0.19%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp21,108 per liter (up 0.01%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,178 per liter (up 0.14%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,819 per kg (up 0.01%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,947 per liter (down 0.02%)
