Latest Food Prices in Bali: Salt and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (13/10/2024) at 09.31 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, chicken eggs, red chilies, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,590 (12.93%) to Rp13,890 per kg. Chicken meat prices saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp1,650 (4.31%) to Rp36,650 per kg.

9. Red Onion: Rp23,510 per kg (up 1.29%)
10. Red Chilies: Rp20,000 per kg (up 4.49%)
