Today's Food Prices, December 04 in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili and Onion Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in West Java are observed to have increased today compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (4/12/2025) at 14.52 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are red onion, Honan garlic, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, imported soybeans, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp4,500 (6.8%) to Rp70,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp1,500 (2.6%) to Rp56,267 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,517 per kg (up 0.3%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,300 per kg (up 0.34%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,915 per liter (stable)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,558 per kg (stable)
12. Minyakita: Rp16,908 per liter (stable)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,612 per kg (down 0.17%)
