Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Onion, Egg, and Red Chili Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/8/2025) at 09:35 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are packaged wheat flour, frozen buffalo meat (imported from abroad), pure beef, dried soybean seeds (imported), and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, skipjack tuna, consumption sugar, milkfish, and fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper commodity had the highest increase of Rp1,335 (4.49%) to Rp31,056 per kg. As for the price of fresh buffalo meat (local), it experienced the sharpest decline of Rp145,313 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
