According to the Ministry of Finance's report, the realization of the budget for Handling Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (PC-PEN) only reached Rp113.5 trillion until June 17, 2022.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati stated that the realization indicates that the absorption of the PC-PEN budget is not yet optimal because it has only reached 29.7% of the allocation of Rp455.62 trillion.
"(PC-PEN) realization is still very slow," said Sri Mulyani in the APBN Kita Press Conference, Thursday (23/6/2022).
The PC-PEN budget is channeled into three clusters. First, for the health handling cluster with a realization of Rp27.6 trillion or 22.5% of the allocation of Rp122.54 trillion.
The details are: Rp20.3 trillion for patient claims, Rp2 trillion for health worker incentives, Rp1.6 trillion for vaccine procurement, Rp1.2 trillion for health tax incentives, and Rp2.5 trillion in village funds for Covid-19 handling.
Second, for the community protection cluster, Rp57 trillion has been realized, or 36.9% of the allocation of Rp154.76 trillion.
Specifically, in this cluster, the government has used Rp14.35 trillion for the Family Hope Program (PKH), Rp18.9 trillion for the Sembako Card program, Rp7.2 trillion for the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for cooking oil, Rp10.9 trillion for village BLT, Rp1.3 trillion for street vendors and warung assistance, and Rp4.4 trillion for the Pre-Employment Card program.
Finally, for the economic recovery strengthening cluster, the realization is Rp28.8 trillion or 16.2% of the allocation of Rp178.32 trillion.
The budget in this cluster was used for the labor-intensive program (Rp5.5 trillion), tourism and creative economy (Rp900 billion), food security (Rp6 trillion), ICT (Rp1.6 trillion), industrial areas (Rp600 billion), UMKM support (Rp8.23 trillion), and tax incentives (Rp6 trillion).
