Food Prices Saturday (Nov 8) Lampung Region: Red Chili Rises, Salt Falls

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (8/11/2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as milkfish, consumption sugar, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili surged the highest by Rp2,044 (4.27%) to Rp49,857 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean seeds (imported) fell the deepest by Rp309 (3.01%) to Rp9,960 per kg.
