Latest Food Prices in Indonesian Regions, What is the Price of Red Chili?

Today, prices of several food items in Indonesia are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (September 8, 2025) at 09:12 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 24 commodities decreased.

Only curly red chili prices increased.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, large red chili, mackerel, fresh buffalo meat (local), and consumption salt decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili commodity increased the most by Rp54 (0.11%) to Rp49,545 per kg. Red onion prices, however, fell the deepest by Rp2,185 (4.91%) to Rp42,294 per kg.
