Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani, revealed that 11 priority programs from President Prabowo Subianto in 2025 will absorb up to Rp446.24 trillion of the state budget (APBN). She argued that this program is to maintain people's purchasing power.
“Amidst the highly dynamic global geopolitical and economic conditions, the APBN continues to be optimized as a shock absorber instrument to maintain public purchasing power, support the business world, create job opportunities, and maintain the momentum of economic growth,” wrote Sri Mulyani on her personal Instagram account, quoted on Tuesday (10/6/2025).
Of all the prioritized programs, the highest is for the Merah Putih village cooperative at Rp200 trillion. Then there is free nutritious food (MBG), the three million houses program, and the eradication of tuberculosis (TB) at the end of this list.
Here are the details of the 11 priority programs:
- Red and White Village Cooperatives: Rp200 trillion
- Free nutritious meals (MBG): Rp121 trillion
- The tree million houses program through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP): Rp41.88 trillion
- Food barns: Rp23.16 trillion
- Dam and irrigation construction: Rp20.5 trillion
- School rehabilitation: Rp19.5 trillion
- People's Schools: Rp11.6 trillion
- Free health check-ups (CKG): Rp3.4 trillion
- Garuda excellent schools: Rp2 trillion
- Construction of quality hospitals: Rp1.7 trillion
- Tuberculosis eradication: Rp1.5 trillion.
According to Sri Mulyani, this budget is allocated to accelerate and maintain the effectiveness of priority programs. Furthermore, through APBN spending, the government has prepared a countercyclical policy response in the form of various economic policy packages.
“Hopefully, with these various efforts, the APBN (#UangKita - Our Money) can optimally protect the Indonesian people and economy from the pressure of the continuously volatile global situation and the weakening of the world economy,” she wrote.
