Current Food Prices in Lampung: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (4/9/2024) at 13:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp370 (1.37%) to Rp27,400 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most by Rp930 (3.0%) to Rp30,120 per kg.
