Current Food Prices in Jambi: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (10/7/2024) at 12:55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp620 (1.7%) to Rp37,090 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the steepest price drop, decreasing by Rp2,400 (4.4%) to Rp52,110 per kg.
