Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (14/5/2024) at 14.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, milkfish, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp870 (1.97%) to Rp45,040 per kg. Milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp2,000 (6.84%) to Rp27,250 per kg.
