Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Chili Prices Rise, Red Chilies Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (10/4/2025) at 15.03 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), garlic cloves, shallots, granulated sugar, and table salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, milkfish, large red chilies, premium rice, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp2,314 (2.75%) to Rp86,396 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices decreased the most, by Rp827 (1.84%) to Rp44,163 per kg.
