Aceh Food Price Update Today: Egg and Salt Prices Rise (Sunday, March 31, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (31/3/2024) at 10:29 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (curah), red chilies (keriting), granulated sugar, medium-grain rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, dry soybeans (import), farmer-level corn, broiler chicken, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,740 (4.93%) to Rp37,030 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of farmer-level corn decreased the most by Rp680 (8.07%) to Rp7,750 per kg.

5. Shallot Bulbs: Rp40,250 per kg (down 0.81%)
6. Red Onion: Rp37,670 per kg (up 0.53%)
7. Milkfish: Rp37,030 per kg (up 4.93%)
8. Broiler Chicken: Rp30,640 per kg (down 4.25%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,670 per kg (down 2.56%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,070 per kg (up 0.63%)
