10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Medium-Sized Garlic (Tuesday, January 25, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of medium-sized garlic of Rp 37,120 per kg in modern markets across several provinces on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

Overall, the average price this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 37,210 per kg.

The daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets in Gorontalo was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 49,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of medium-sized garlic in this province is lower; previously recorded at Rp 56,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in West Papua's modern markets, the price of medium-sized garlic was sold at Rp 44,400 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of medium-sized garlic in Central Sulawesi was Rp 43,700 per kg, North Maluku Rp 41,700 per kg, and West Kalimantan Rp 39,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, eight provinces had medium-sized garlic prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for medium-sized garlic were North Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung Islands, and Jambi.
