Indonesia Food Prices Friday (27/9): Egg Prices Up, Oil Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (27/9/2024) at 08.02 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, corn at the farmer level, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, pure beef, milkfish, red chilies, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,220 (8.64%) to Rp40,500 per kg. Milkfish, on the other hand, saw the largest price decrease of Rp1,100 (3.32%) to Rp32,010 per kg.
