Latest Food Prices in West Java: Prices of Chilies, Onions, and Chicken Rise

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (1/7/2024) at 13:42 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, iodized fine salt, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, SPHP rice, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp1,800 (4.71%) to Rp40,050 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most sharply by Rp2,220 (6.11%) to Rp34,090 per kg.
