Latest Food Prices in Bali: Prices of Chilies, Beef, and Eggs Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (19/4/2024) at 15.50 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallot bulbs, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, red onions, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, red chili peppers, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp2,720 (7.78%) to Rp37,660 per kg. The price of curly red chilies decreased the least, by Rp1,740 (4.13%) to Rp40,420 per kg.
