Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Salt and Rice Prices Increase (Friday, December 1, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 1:25 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, shallots, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, milkfish, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp470 (1.76%), reaching Rp27,130 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp540 (1.59%), reaching Rp33,340 per kg.
