Today's Food Prices in Banten: Salt and Egg Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (7/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, red chilies, iodized fine salt, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,360 (5.29%) to Rp27,080 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil saw the sharpest decrease, down by Rp630 (3.98%) to Rp15,180 per liter.
