Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Sugar Up, Chilies Down (Tuesday, March 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (19/3/2024) at 14.23 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, medium rice, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Granulated sugar experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp200 (1.11%) to Rp18,290 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp640 (8.26%) to Rp7,110 per kg.
