Lampung Region's Latest Food Prices: Fish Up, Chilies Down (Saturday, December 9, 2023)

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (9/12/2023) at 15:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, medium-grain rice, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chilies, granulated sugar, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp3,150 (11.54%) to Rp30,450 per kg. The price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp440 (0.51%) to Rp85,040 per kg.
