Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Region Tuesday (23/9), What is the Price of Red Chili?

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today are observed to have risen compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (September 23, 2025) at 12:11 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are broiler chicken meat, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, consumption salt, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita cooking oil, curly red chili, red bird''s eye chili, shallots, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Consumption salt saw the highest increase of Rp745 (6.17%) to Rp12,820 per kg. As for shallots, the price dropped the sharpest by Rp2,535 (7.26%) to Rp32,385 per kg.
