Food Prices Today (22/1) in Indonesia: Chicken Meat and Onion Prices Fall

Some food prices in Indonesia today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (January 22, 2026) at 02:24 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Only large red chili commodity experienced a price increase.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp1,800 (4.36%) to Rp43,100 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices fell the sharpest by Rp200 (0.44%) to Rp44,900 per kg.
