The daily price of medium-sized shallots at traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province has increased by 93.38% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp42,350. This price is up Rp250 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets has increased from Rp21,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has increased by 2.05% from the previous price of Rp41,500.

The highest price increase for medium-sized shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2017 with an increase of 40.91%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in June 2020 with a decrease of -18.32%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi show three commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Red Chili.
