Latest Food Prices in Banten: Onion Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food items in Banten today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (November 2, 2025) at 13.20 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices include dried soybean seeds (imported), broiler chicken meat, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, large red chili, premium rice, curly red chili, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The milkfish commodity surged the highest by Rp1,541 (4.27%) to Rp37,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped most sharply by Rp1,564 (2.58%) to Rp59,118 per kg.
