West Java Food Price List Today: Chili and Oil Prices Down (Monday, February 19, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (February 19, 2024) at 11:04 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), mackerel, chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp4,130 (5.75%), reaching Rp75,960 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease of Rp360 (5.11%), reaching Rp6,680 per kg.
