West Java Food Price List Today: Oil and Chili Prices Down (Friday, March 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (March 8th, 2024) at 09.08 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, red chili peppers, and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium-grain rice saw the highest price increase of Rp380 (2.59%), reaching Rp15,080 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease of Rp680 (9.96%), reaching Rp6,150 per kg.
