Today's (10/2) Food Prices in West Sumatra: Bird's Eye Chili and Onion Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in West Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) at 15:59 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

The commodities that experienced price increases are curly red chili, Honan garlic, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, only shallots decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Honan garlic commodity jumped the highest by Rp695 (2.07%) to Rp34,278 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the most by Rp167 (0.48%) to Rp34,389 per kg.
