Jambi Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, March 23, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (23/3/2024) at 10:22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, shallots, premium rice, livestock-grade corn, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, mackerel, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp870 (10.61%) to Rp9,070 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp6,900 (20.82%) to Rp26,240 per kg.
