Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Oil, Eggs, and Rice Increase

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today is observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (21/11/2024) at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, broiler chicken, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, skipjack tuna, whole garlic cloves, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp700 (4.58%) to Rp15,980 per kg. Shallots saw the biggest price drop, decreasing by Rp3,400 (9.03%) to Rp34,250 per kg.
